The NanoburstX Advantage

A Fundamentally Different Approach to Nanobubble Generation

I 2 Air Fluid Innovation, Inc. has developed NanoBurstX TM, a breakthrough in nanobubble generation that uses chemically initiated ultrafine bubble (CIUB) technology to replace traditional mechanical methods. Unlike systems reliant on pressurization, cavitation, or membranes, NanoBurstX TM employs proprietary vapor-phase infusion to rapidly produce highly stable nanoscale bubbles. Independent validation at the University of California, Irvine confirmed a mean size of ~66 nm with stability exceeding 192 hours from a single 3-minute infusion, with additional verification from NJIT, Cornell University, and Malvern Panalytical. The process is low energy and designed for simple integration into existing systems, enabling rapid adoption without complex infrastructure. I 2 Air Fluid Innovation operates a licensing model, providing patented technology, know-how, and design support, allowing their partners to integrate NanoBurstX TM into existing platforms while maintaining control of manufacturing and margins

Who This Is For

If Nanobubbles Are Part of Your Strategy, Evaluate CIUB First

Whether you already generate nanobubbles or are exploring them for the first time, chemical initiation unlocks capabilities that mechanical generation methods cannot.

Existing Nanobubble Companies

Expand Your Capability

Already generating nanobubbles through mechanical methods? CIUB’s chemical initiation unlocks finer size distribution, longer stability, configurable treatment agents, and application versatility that mechanical generation cannot achieve. License CIUB to extend what your platform can do.

Hardware & System Companies

Add Nanobubble Capability

Looking to differentiate your technology with nanobubbles? CIUB integrates into existing fluid systems at low energy, low pressure, and without specialized infrastructure, so you add nanobubble capability without redesigning your platform.

End Users & Operators

Build Your Own Capability

Dependent on a single nanobubble supplier? License CIUB to vertically integrate, reduce supplier dependency, and gain strategic control over your nanobubble capability, without building mechanical generation infrastructure.

Displace a Cost You Already Carry

Chemical Additive and Consumable Suppliers

Operating a chemical programme that CIUB could reduce or replace? Licensees in beverage CIP, hydraulic fracturing, and wastewater treatment are using CIUB to reduce biocide volume, cut caustic cycle frequency, and lower coagulant requirements. If your customers are evaluating CIUB, licensing it positions you ahead of displacement rather than behind it.

Wherever you sit in the value chain — generating nanobubbles today, looking to add the capability, managing supplier dependency, or protecting a chemical programme from displacement — CIUB offers capabilities that mechanical generation methods do not. We encourage you to evaluate the difference before committing to a conventional approach.

Mereduce™ is a patented biological platform designed to transform toxic metals, denude microplastic surfaces, and enhance microbial performance across wastewater, agriculture, and aquaculture. Using specialized microbial pathways, growth and delivery methods, it transforms and immobilizes metals such as mercury, reducing toxicity, improving effluent quality, and supporting regulatory compliance. Its bioactive consortia also disrupt microplastic surface coatings, lowering contaminant transport and improving downstream removal. In agricultural and aquacultural systems, Mereduce™ acts as a probiotic, strengthening microbial balance and nutrient cycling. Deployed standalone or with NanoBurstX™, it provides a scalable, low-chemical solution for environmental remediation and system optimization aligned with sustainability-driven operations. Enforable through 2045.

HTRI, Exclusive Worldwide Licensee

Exclusive worldwide provider since 2014

HTRI (Heat Transfer Research, Inc.) holds an exclusive worldwide license to apply I2’s vapor infusion technology within heat exchangers, associated piping systems, and water processing applications. The partnership originated from Michael Radicone’s presentation at the 2013 International Conference on Heat Exchanger Fouling and Cleaning in Budapest.

Successful implementations include cruise shipping, offshore drilling, geothermal systems, and aquaculture. In 2024, Michael received the Mike Ackrill Award from the UK Heat Transfer Society.
